Shaft Mis-alignment is detected by the increase in 1 x fr. fr is rotation speed and confirmed by the 180degree phase difference method.
I would like to know why there exist a 180 phase difference across coupling?
Also, when there is no misalignment, whether the phase difference is < 180 or > 180?
